I have led a very colorful life ... I'd be happy to get to know you and get into the details but - here's the gist:

I come from a line of Musicians and felt the call to follow suit. From high-school to Music College to performing full-time. I played the saxophone in bars and nightclubs, black tie gala functions, recording studios, private lessons and corporate team building events. I had a great time, have lots of stories to tell but ... my life was starting to remind me of a joke I heard in Music school:

(Q) "What's the difference between a saxophone player and a large pizza?"

(A) "A large pizza can feed a family of four."

After my wife and I found out we had a baby on the way ... I realized I had to grow up FAST. After a little bit of soul searching I realized that during all those years of meeting strangers and having a good time I was actually developing an extremely valuable skill set: I'm good with people. Nowhere is this rewarded as much as the world of sales.

I went from broke musician to salaried sales rep for an International Freight Forwarding Company. Honestly, it didn't feel any different from what I had spent the last couple of decades doing: making friends and having lunch. Finally all those years of socializing had paid off! My natural ease with people made for a very smooth transition into the business community. It didn't take long for me to realize I had finally found my calling as a sales professional. And what better market to work in than the Vancouver Real Estate Market?

Aside from all this I am also a 2nd Dan in Karate and ran a small Karate club for a little while. The largest benefit I gained from Martial Arts is the ability to stay focused while under pressure. (I'm not a big person and lets face it ... having a large person punching and kicking at you can be very stressful). Being blessed with finding a very worldly and compassionate Sensei ... I had entered the realm of 'The Warrior'. Every culture has their own version of the Warrior archetype but they all share a common theme: the pursuit of honor and humility while pledging to care for those around them.

To sum it all up ... I know how to listen, love meeting new people and am not afraid of confrontation. I enjoy fighting for my clients' equity and this is is evident in my track record.

As a native Vancouverite (yes ... born and raised!), I know and have known people from all over the world - one of the benefits of living in an international destination. I enjoy bridging cultural barriers and working with people from all walks of life.
